Jane Austen Persuasion....

“I can listen no longer in silence. I must speak to you by such means as are within my reach. You pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope. Tell me not that I am too late, that such precious feelings are gone for ever. I offer myself to you again with a heart even more your own than when you almost broke it, eight years and a half ago. Dare not say that man forgets sooner than woman, that his love has an earlier death. I have loved none but you. Unjust I may have been, weak and resentful I have been, but never inconstant. You alone have brought me to Bath. For you alone, I think and plan. Have you not seen this? Can you fail to have understood my wishes? I had not waited even these ten days, could I have read your feelings, as I think you must have penetrated mine. I can hardly write. I am every instant hearing something which overpowers me. You sink your voice, but I can distinguish the tones of that voice when they would be lost on others. Too good, too excellent creature! You do us justice, indeed. You do believe that there is true attachment and constancy among men. Believe it to be most fervent, most undeviating, in F. W.

I must go, uncertain of my fate; but I shall return hither, or follow your party, as soon as possible. A word, a look, will be enough to decide whether I enter your father's house this evening or never.”
― Jane Austen, Persuasion

Why cannot love exists

Only truly in Jane Austin's world

To know

To feel

Love like Persuasion

This movie moved me so to want and desire to be transported back in time when pure love actually existed and lasted for eternity....

Oh the persuasion of it all....

Black Friday nightmare at the Vintage faire mall in Modesto Ca.

Black Friday nightmare!

Well first of all I really had no intention of going out to this years Black Friday.

My sister came buy with my niece and invited us to go out and accompany them to the local mall.
And since being full from eating dinner that night I thought it being a good idea to walk it off a bit.

So My daughter and I thought a good idea to go and check out the apple store to see what deals they were going to be having.

We showed up around 9 pm and to find no one hanging around, so we decided this was perfect,
first in line great!
Just outside the store was an outside area with tables and chairs with free wifi what else could we want to pass the time it was quite chilly that night so I encouraged my 9 year old daughter to walk around a bit to warm up.
Well we weren't there but maybe 15 minutes when I heard a terrible blood curdling scream from my daughter coming from a few feet from me.
I rushed to see my daughter underneath hundreds of pounds of cement from an outdoor fountain that fell over on top of her.
I quickly fell to my knees and tried lifting this from her two feet which were pinned underneath.
She was screaming and I also was screaming for her to pull her feet out.
As much as I tried, I could not budge that heavy cement off her feet, it was so heavy!
All I could think was that her poor feet were broken from the weight. By some miracle she pulled her feet out.
Still screaming and crying and wet from the water from this gigantic contraption.
I dragged her to a bench nearby.
By then there were three girls there. I guess they were waiting down the way by one of the nearby stores.
One girl offered to call 911 and another offering my daughter a blanket.
Within minutes it seemed the paramedics were there assisting my daughter.
At the time when my daughter had all that heavy cement on top her I felt so helpless and desperate that I couldn't lift it off her.
I thought her feet were broken.
I couldn't understand how an innocent night could turn into a nightmare from hell!
I had never felt so scared and worried as a mother in my whole life! I felt like a complete failure as a nurturing mother to let something like this happen.
Come to find out what really happened was that my daughter was reaching up with her feet to see if she could get a better look into the fountain to see the coins from atop the upper level of the fountain and the lower base gave way.
This certain water fountain was quite not affixed to the other half which made the whole structure give way.
As unlucky as this night was , the paramedics did mention that she was lucky that she was not right in front of the fountain but she was standing on the side of the fountain.
So if she was in front of it, it would of fell on top her head which would of led to worse injuries maybe even death!
Today is Saturday night she is safe at home with me and alive and very much traumatized from this accident.
She has been having terrible nightmares at night and I feel so terrible for her.
My poor little girl , I wish we would had never been out that night and Safe in our own home.
But who was to know what that night was to be.
After departing from the mall the paramedics took us both to the hospital my daughter still crying they took x-rays to find out no broken bones.
I was in utter shock and disbelief and relieved at the same time. Witnessing what i had seen that night I COULDN'T BELIEVE HER feet were not broken.
She did leave the hospital with crutches and a brace for one of her feet. She did have a torn muscle and sprain.
The next day I awoke to pain so severe in my back and I felt like a truck had hit me.
I went to the doctors and found out I pulled my back when trying to lift that heavy cement off my daughter.
My daughter though much worse of course.
When all this was done and behind us,
I cannot understand how a shopping mall would allow for an outside structure like that fountain was not affixed to the building or the ground and not stable?
I am very concerned and puzzled how an accident like this could had been avoided? This was a catastrophe waiting to happen.

If the public happens to come across my story I wish to thank those wonderful young girls who were out that night at the Vintage Faire Mall located in Modesto Ca. Right near the Apple store

And also those two men from the paramedics that were so helpful and caring thank you so much!

If you happen to be at the mall outside of the area where I have described, you will see the fountain gone and can no longer be a liability to ones safety.

This fountain is not the one that fell on my daughter but I just wanted to show an example of the weight of what one might be

Breaking Dawn...part#2

Where do I begin?

Well first of all I will wonderfully admit that when Stephanie Meyers first came out with her first novel Twilight I first noticed the book at the Scholastic book fair that was being held in our local library. I remember walking over and picking up that book. What caught my attention was the cover "The shiny red apple" and then I noticed how thick the book was which I totally loved due to my love for reading. And I absolutely adore sinking myself into a book that I can quite get lost in it, "there is nothing worse than getting absorbed in a book and then finding out the story is over..." I loved also the fact that it was a paper back because paperbacks are so much cheaper to buy. Wow I just realized when the first twilight came out it was in paperback and with a different cover. So I decided to purchase the book along with some others for my daughter. Well I took the book home and began to read it and to tell you the truth I think I got through two chapters and it really didn't strike my attention. So that book kind of just sat on my book shelf for a month or so.... And then I began to hear something about that book again from who knows where...I heard it being about vampires and wear wolves and I thought how cheesy! Here I was thinking I probably didn't make a good choice purchasing this book. I really just thought it would stay on my bookshelf for good. Then I really don't remember but one day I opened it up and decided to give it another shot...
Then that's when it all changed....I never put that book down till the end..."I was definitely hooked!!" I couldn't wait till her next book, and the next, and the next...

And then finally Stephanie Meyers released her movies to the big screen. And i was just like all the crazed fans out there...I couldn't wait to see "Twilight" and then......

I was so disappointed! It was such a major disappointment.... The movie did not do any justice to Stephanie Meyer at all. I couldn't understand the book was just so awesome and the movie was like a total rip off!

Well after that I promised that I would never watch any more of the twilight movies, or at least pay to see them. So I did adventually see the rest slowly, but surely. Of course they never did meet any of my expectations. Until.....

Breaking Dawn 2

I must admit they finally did it right....
It was a rainy day and I was pretty bored I decided to call the movie theatre first to see if they're were any more tickets available. It just came out Thursday night the premier showing. And here it was Friday. And there were tickets so I drove over to the theatre and purchased tickets for the night showing.
Just two weeks previous I went to the movies to see Paranormal Activity and wow! I really don't think they could put a much worse movie EVER! That was definitely a waste of my time and Money and A Saturday.

So here we were getting ready to see Breaking Dawn part 2 and I didn't even see part 1 But I already knew the whole trilogy. So I was really pretty much happy leaving the theatre at the end it was a great movie! I guess they waited to the last to make a big impact on the whole Twilight story. Oh And I really loved the part when they put Stephanie Meyers on the wedding guest list.

Way to go "Breaking Dawn".!!!!!!!!

"Violets pet peeves"

Definition of the word "Pet Peeve"

Web definitions
an opportunity for complaint that is seldom missed; "grammatical mistakes are his pet peeve".
wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn

What is a pet peeve?
Answer:
It's your favorite minor complaint. It's when someone, or somethings, actions really irritate you and you just can't stand it. It could be irrational, and not even annoy anybody else. It can be different for anyone. For example, I hate it when a person goes to turn while driving, and they don't turn on their blinker. It is something small that bothers you that other people are not bothered by. And also when u do something u really like and u cant help but To do it.

We all have our pet peeves I'm sure, but I think I have a bit too many. I wonder what that says about me? Do I offend easily? Does everything bother me? Or everyone bother me? I know one thing for certain #1 There are definitely some morons that should not be allowed on our roads that we drive on. #2 People should not be allowed to wear their pajamas in public # 3 people should be made to wear deodorant especially in elevators. But those are just a couple of my pet peeves, and I definitely could write a book of the things in this world that really piss me off... But I won't get into that right now. So I will have one pet peeve every week just so were up to speed to what's going on in my head and I'm sure you all out there share the same feelings as I.

Today we will talk about Violet's pet peeve #1

As I was driving out today there was a lifted truck driving in front of me. Now this would not have been no big deal to me, but what really offended me was the fact that this truck had something hanging from it at the bottom by the back bumper. And it was a metal pair of balls!
And when I thought it couldn't get any worse the license plate read: "Don't just stroke it Ram it"
I mean "really"? What kind of people do these things? Are they that backwards? And how gross, a mans privates? On their vehicle, how utterly discussing! Come on guys do you really think that's manly?
Yes, the better to easily identify trashy people. Because these things are just disgusting. Every bit as disgusting as a giant plastic vagina would be hanging from your bumper.
Are men wishing...
Hell…even my balls are bigger.?.Are they trying to compensate for ???

I know I'm not the only one who finds this offensive. I found this interesting story about a woman, yes A Woman going to court over plastic testicles hanging from her truck. What is happening to our world? To our people?

Here is the link read it for yourself....

Preface…have you seen those scrotum sack things they sell which you can hang form the rear undercarriage of your vehicle? They look like this:

IPad Mini? Vs ipad3

I have been reading so many reviews about the new iPad mini that I have definitely come to a conclusion, that I did it right this time by choosing the iPad 3.
When I first heard about the iPad mini It struct me that wow! I want one, and then the price was pretty decent too. Then it turned out that it didn't even come with the wonderful retina display which I so adore with my IPad. Especially when I experienced first hand with my dear old first generation IPad. So for once I think, Or should I say yes! I did it right. "I'm sticking with my IPad 3". IPad mini sorry not for me....

Here's one of the reviews I found if your interested ...you decide...
